Students can change the information in their student profile including their first name, last name, email and/or password. For example, students may want to update their email address if they plan to change employers and want to maintain their course and lesson progress from your training site.
You can instruct a student(s) how to change the information in their student profile, including their first name, last name, email and/or password when they are signed into your training domain.
Notes:
- If students forget their password or are otherwise unable to log in to their account for your training domain, you can instruct them on how to reset their password or manually reset student's passwords.
- If you have SSO set up on your domain, the student information and login credentials in Skilljar are owned by your organization's identity provider. To update student information, reach out to the technical team in your organization who set up SSO. Skilljar support can also update user info, but if you have SSO enabled, the information will be overwritten if it's updated on re-authorization via SSO.
-
- Note: If you do not have SSO enabled, Skilljar support can update the user info for you, or you can use our API.
