Setting a Video Thumbnail

If you have uploaded a video to Skilljar, the thumbnail image used for the video will be created from the 10th second of your video.

Note: this applies to videos you've uploaded to Skilljar only. If you embed a video from YouTube, Vimeo, Kaltura, Ooyala, or another platform, the thumbnail can only be edited on your hosting platform.

Setting a custom thumbnail image

Navigate to the lesson with a video via Course Management.
Click Edit Video Thumbnail below the video by expanding "Content"
On the screen that pops-up, choose 'browse' to upload your own image.
