Disqus: Turning Disqus On or Off in a Lesson

For general information on activating Disqus discussion forums on your Skilljar account, click here.

You may choose to surface discussion forums on certain lessons, or hide it from others. This is especially relevant for Quiz lessons, where you may not want students to discuss content or answers. You can turn the discussion forum feature on or off on the lesson level.

Any courses created after June, 2017 will have Disqus off by default on each lesson.

How to activate Disqus on a lesson:

Navigate to Course Management
Select the course you're working in, then select the lesson you'd like to add the discussion forum
Open the Settings section of the lesson, and deselect "Hide Disqus pane"
