Editing Legacy and Recommendation Series

  • Updated

In this article, we will break down interacting with your existing legacy or recommendation series after the Learning Path update has been made to the platform.

Where to find your existing Legacy and Recommendation Series:

You are able to find your existing Legacy Series and Recommendation Series under the Catalog Pages tab within Catalog Settings for your domains. The Legacy and Recommendation Series are denoted by a (series) tag next to the title, as can be seen below:

Note: The CSV download button on this page will now include information regarding all of your existing legacy or recommendation series.

Can I create a new Legacy or Recommendation Series?

You are no longer able to create legacy or recommendation series on the Skilljar platform. If you would like to create a legacy series, our recommendation would be to utilize our Catalog Page feature!

Editing existing Legacy and Recommendation Series:

You are able to edit existing legacy and recommendation series on the Skilljar Dashboard. You will just need to navigate to the Catalog Page tab in the Catalog Settings for your particular domain, as referenced above.

Finding your Legacy and Recommendation Series in other dashboard areas:

Legacy or recommendation series no longer surface in other dashboard areas. This can be especially noticeable in the create/edit tag page and edit group visibility, though will also come into play on the published course table / CSV and tags table.

Going forward, in order to edit tags or group visibility on these series, you will have to access the series through the edit page of the series, as found under the Catalog Setting -> Catalog Page tab.

Note: You will no longer be able to edit these settings from the Tags or Groups area on the Skilljar Dashboard.

As noted earlier in the article, the Catalog Page Table CSV Download will now hold information of your legacy and recommendation series.
