URL Redirects

  • Updated

Redirect any source URL on your domain to a different target URL, whether internal or external, so learners are seamlessly sent where you want them.

Overview

  • Define a Source (page, path, course, or plan) by entering its URL slug

  • Define a Destination (an external URL or another URL on your domain)

  • Any request to the Source URL will immediately redirect visitors to the Target

Note: You can create redirects before content is published, but they will not take effect until the Source isn’t pointing at live content. We don’t validate the Target, so it can also point to unpublished internal pages.

Prerequisites

  • You must be have at least the Domains & Publishing permissions

      1. These can be found on the academy for the published object OR on the published object management page on the dashboard
  4. Configure Destination URL:

How It Works

  • Redirect Activation: Only activates if the Source content/URL is not currently live.

  • No Target Validation: The system does not check whether the Target exists (use with care).

  • Global Effect: Anyone accessing the exact Source URL (regardless of http/https or query parameters) will be redirected.
